    Three Man Army

    For those of us who like guitar pyrotechnics, plus a little bit of melodic hard rock, this one is right up your alley. After all, it takes a certain amount of chutzpah to open up an album with a Hendrix-inspired version of "My Yiddishe Mama" - only to follow it up with a thunderous rocker with a killer hook ("Hold On"). There are high points ("Come Down To Earth", "Can't Leave The Summer I/II" - both carrying screaming guitar solos), low points ("Woman", "The Trip"), and points in between. "Mahesha" opens up like a volcano, and batters you like a tornado. Never mind the outright flub of a line in the third verse (and they kept it! - go figure); the fiery, wah-wah laced guitar solo at the end more than makes up for it.
