The records were housed in the Type 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 company sleeves. Black label with silver print. The beginning of the perimeter print was written “GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD.” and “SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS” text. Tax code KT.

The runouts are stamped, except for the etched initials which are also laid at a 90 degree angle.

Type 1 labels have “NORTHERN SONGS NCB” in three lines and '℗ 1966' above the matrix numbers. Solid Centre.

Unlike The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby / Yellow Submarine, the label matrices are in brackets and the text is in a different font. This version also shows 'Lennon-McCartney' as opposed to 'Lennon, McCartney'.
