Most tracks were recorded in Jamaica, some at least were cut at West Indies Studios, 13, Bell Lane, Kingston and engineered by Carlton Lee.
Track 3 was recorded in London, possibly at Advision Studios.

Track 1 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 170 in 1963. It was also released as Fab BB 30, Blue Bueat DDBB 334 (disco 4) and in the LPs "I feel the spirit" (Fab MS 2),"Tutti Frutti" (Fab MS 6) and "Original Golden Oldies Volume 1' (Prince Buster PB 9).
Track 2 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 324 in 1965. It was also released as Blue Beat DDBB 334 and in the LPs "It's Burke Law/Jamaica Ska Explosion" (Blue Beat BBLP 806) and "Fabulous Greatest Hits" (Fab MS1).
Track 3 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 200 in 1963. It was also released as Blue Beat BB 210 and in the LPs "I Feel The Spirit" (Blue Beat BBLP 802), "I Feel The Spirit" (Fab MS 2), "Original Golden Oldies Volume 1" (Prince Buster PB 9) and "Tutti Frutti" (Fab MS 6).
Track 4 was not originally released in UK.
Track 5 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 309 in 1965. It was also released as Blue Beat DDPB 4 and in the LPs "It's Burke's Law/Jamaica Ska Explosion" (Blue Beat BBLP 806), "The Outlaw" (Fab BBLP 822) and "15 Oldies But Goodies" (Fab MS 4).
Track 6 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 167 in 1963. It was also released as Blue Beat BB 234, Blue Beat DDBB 334 and in the LPs "What A Hard Man Fe Dead" (Blue Beat BBLP 807) and "Fabulous Greatest Hits" (Fab MS 1).
Track 7 was first released on UK single Dice CC11 in 1963. It was also released in the LPs "I Feel The Spirit" (Blue Beat BBLP 802), "Tutti Frutti" (Fab MS 6), "Original Golden Oldies Volume 1" (Prince Buster PB 9) and "Original Golden Oldies Volume 2" (Prince Buster PB 10).
Track 8 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 248 in 1964. It was also released as Stateside SS 335 and Unity UN 522.
Track 9 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 357 in 1966. It was also released in the LP "What A Hard Man Fe Dead" (Blue Beat BBLP 807).
Track 10 was not originally released on UK single, also as Fab M 51.
Track 11 was first released on UK single Blue Beat BB 387 in 1967. It was also released in the LPs "Judge Dread Rock Steady" (Blue Beat BBLP 809) and "Fabulous Greatest Hits" (Fab MS 1).
