2nd 1964 Scranton pressing; all publishing credits on labels ASCAP except A1= BMI, some variants list A2=BMI also. The Beatles on cover in brown print. This is the first cover variation, which does not have George Martin's producer credit.

According to "Price Guide for Beatles' American Records" (6th ed.) by Cox & Daniels, this 2nd label variant was used for a sigificant part of the initial east coast production run, and were initially packaged with the first jacket variation (with no George Martin credit).

Small number 3 (factory fabricator #) on back cover in lower right-hand corner.
Issued with light blue inner sleeve.
