A wonderful upbeat psych gem that s seldom seen for sale. The actual A side is good pastoral psych in the mould of Jason Crest or Kaleidoscope. However. ..it s the flip that s the big one here really LOVELY chords struck clear as a WHO with Pete Townshend recording These lads from Muswell Hill were friends with The KINKS Davies brothers, and probably influenced by their style too. Absolutely fantastic record - nice harmonies, brilliantly arranged and produced, and a wonderful record. Why this wasn t an A-side proves my theory that record company execs had little idea of what people wanted to hear.
