The only mono pressings of this record were available only as special promotional copies, and very few of them were ever pressed.
These matte textured covers were very prone to wear and age, but this one has held up well, beautifully preserved in original opened factory shrink wrap. No significant signs of wear or age, just some light rub on bottom right corner of open edge. Grade: Near Mint (NM).
The vinyl is very nice, still has much of its original shine. Has a few very light, superficial hairlines and small marks on both sides but nothing deep or serious--nothing that can be felt nor anything that affects the quality of playback, which is excellent. No marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play. One label has the number "100" printed in faint red. This copy has been in my personal collection for the last 35 years, played once, then archived.
When played in the recommended Mono Mode, this is an excellent sounding record. The sound quality is far superior to the stereo versions. No serious pressing/background noise on the run-in grooves. Full-bodied mono sound. Not audiophile clean, but none of these original pressings are. A well-preserved copy. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
