About This Record.
This is a Holy Grail Prog Psych LP for sale that rarely turns up.
This LP is by The Aggregation from 1967, on LHI Records entitled Mind Odyssey in original unipack cover.Lee Hazelwood was a crazy genius in signing this group along
with The International Submarine Band to LHI Records.
The drug references are many including lyrics
like Flowing and feeling incredibly free, One knowing, One being, The whole
world was me, And when I looked around my body was gone My mind had flown and
I was alone with myself.
Not many of
these have surfaced for sale, and this is a NICE copy as these things go.

Very Good Plus VG Gatefold Unipack Cover.
The Gatefold Unipack Cover has Totally SOLID
Spine and Seams, and an embossed Not For Sale Promotion Use Only in the top
right cover.
However, in addition the top
right corner where the embossed promo notice also has three noticeable creases,
about three inches long, two inches long, and one inch long near the embossed
stamp.
There are also a couple of
noticeable medium to heavy creases in lower left corner of the cover, one about
six 6 inches long.
Smaller ding in
lower right corner, and a smaller ding top left corner of gatefold.
A Unipack cover is a gatefold cover, but the vinyl comes
out from the middle inside of the gatefold cover, not the outside.
Helps with dust control, I guess, although
this design did not catch on and was rarely used.

Looks Very Good Plus VG with some
noticeable paper marks and light scuffs, but plays mainly EX to EX , even in
the many silent places and there are many quiet places on this LP with lots of
weird psych stuff going on in the background .
You do not want a noisy copy of this LP, and this copy is pretty darn
quiet, although besides the visual flaws noted above it has the following
flaws:On Side One there are eight 8 consecutive ticks from a
short scratch/mark between Tracks A3 and A4, with four 4 of the eight 8
clicks being in the dead wax between the songs, and the other four 4 clicks unfortunately occurring at the
beginning of Track A4.
Just a little
background noise on Track A5 towards the end in some quiet places.On Side Two, plays nice EX except for a few pops here and
there except Track B5 last plays VG in spots towards the middle with some
background noise in the quiet parts.
There
are one or two pops on each of Tracks B1, B2 and B3.Labels.
Excellent Plus EX labels.
Please see photos of all labels Inserts: Comes with original plain white now brown paper inner sleeve, but no worries, this also comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach Oh My Gosh Packaging.
I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I.
Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.
I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.
I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating Do Not Bend and/or Fragile or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.Shipping and Payment.
