Summary: On the rare Black and Gold Parlophone Label this is the MONO version of The Beatles very first UK Album release, considered one of the most collectible UK Beatles album of all time.
Please Please Me was the Beatles first UK album.
There was obviously much interest from the increasing fan base to listen The Beatles first album.
Most were passed around at parties, thoroughly enjoyed, and therefore many became badly damaged.
This is one of the few better examples to have come on the open market in recent years.

Both sides of the Black and Gold Parlophone record labels are in beautiful Excellent Plus condition, the gold text, and the black background of the Parlophone labels are undamaged, all that is visible are just a couple of very light signs of play to the centre spindle holes, and unbelievably, there is none of the usual white areas of wear around the centre spindle holes.

The album has been carefully played through ALL the tracks, and the Sound Quality is superb, the LP plays without major faults, there are NO skips, clicks,or pops, side one play s Excellent Plus a great sound quality with minimal background crackle, side two play s Excellent with a little more background noise than side one, more noticeable on the intro s to the tracks, the LP sits 90 flat on the turntable, with just small unevenness when side 1 is playing, this does not effect the sound quality in any way, the disc is NOT buckled, it is just slightly uneven.
The vinyl LP comes in its ORIGINAL Polythene lined Use Emitex inner bag, the inner bag too is in superb Excellent Plus condition, there are no seam splits or tearing, just the usual light creasing.

This Please Please Me sleeve is in superb condition, and one of the better Original Ernest J Day Laminated mono sleeves to have come into stock, to be honest most sleeves we see are in poor condition and suffer from a lot of wear and tear, however, this one has survived in superb condition for the past 50 years, and is in superb Excellent condition, see full description and detailed scans below The Front panel is very FLAT and FIRM and still retains its DEEP GLOSS and VIVID COLOURS.
There is NO visible record indentation, just a couple of laminate pinches.
