This is the rare, Made in Great Britain by E.M.I.
and is the second pressing Export LP on the Black Silver Parlophone Label with one E.M.I.
Box Logo for The Beatles penultimate UK album release, Abbey Road, pressed in the UK for EXPORT MARKET ONLY and not available to purchase anywhere in the UK at the time of release.
This rare 2nd Issue replaced the Black Yellow Parlophone version in late 1969, and is a UK Export Vinyl LP on the Black Silver One EMI Box Parlophone Labels, with Gramophone Co Ltd label rim, Made in Gt Britain , and the UK Export Catalogue Number PPCS 7088 printed to both record labels.
Both smooth record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, super clear record labels with just a few centre spindle lines.
The side 1 matrix is Y E X 749-2.
and Side 2 Y E X 750-1.
Side 1 stamper, 1 M R M and side 2, 4 A D M.
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in superb Excellent condition, the vinyl surfaces are very clean and free from any deep scratches or scuffs, and show just a few light surface hairlines.
The LP plays with a great sound quality through all of the tracks, with a clear powerful stereo sound quality, there are no skips or clicks, and a really enjoyable sound quality from the rare Export LP..
The LP comes in its original white Made in England Inner bag.
and is housed in it s original UK Abbey Road Sleeve manufactured by Garrod Lofthouse International Ltd and is fully laminated.
The sleeve is a very nice example in Excellent Plus condition, no damage to the sleeve with just LP indentation to the front panel and light corner bumps, the sleeve still retains it s rich and deep high gloss shine to both sides and all edges are free from splits.
The Gold Parlophone sticker usually found over the Apple Logo is missing, although I have been reliably informed that not all these sleeves had this sticker.
A very nice example of this rare and seldom seen Beatles UK Export Album Release.
