THE BEATLES - Hard Day s Night Dick James Music Limited Demo Disc - 45rpm Acetate - UK - 1964 Rare original UK Dick James demo disc / single-sided acetate of the classic Beatles tune Hard Day s Night .
Condition is not brilliant, but to be honest I ve heard worse sounding acetates.
While it is not the loudest cut you ll ever hear and there s a fair bit of surface noise, you can still hear the tune in mono as plain as day.
I m no expert on acetates and I don t know how possible it is to clean them up so I can t guarantee it s going to sound any better than it does now.
Which is like a well played 52 year old single.
But it plays, and there s no jumps or skips.

I have only ever played it once and I did make a sound clip of the acetate.
A video of it was uploaded to YouTube but was blocked in about 160 different countries within minutes of the upload : Although the condition is not great, there s no doubting it is extremely rare and I m offering it strictly as a collectors item of historical interest to Beatles fans.
If you re after a mint condition super clean Beatles demo 45 then this isn t it, but even though it s in worn condition Beatles collectors will know how scarce this one is...
