PARLOGRAM AUCTIONS presents...
THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM This pristine UK 1st pressing of their 1968 double album is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7067 PCS 7068 All labels include the Sold In UK...
and An EMI Recording wording.
A KJT purchase tax code is visible in the center of the side 3 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1 YEX 711-1, YEX 712-2 Stamper codes: 4/PH, 3/MH 3/GAL, Vinyl weights: 156g 152g Housed in a fully laminated UK printed, top-opening gatefold cover numbered: No.573945 and a square 8mm wide spine.
100 complete with 4 color photos, white photo protector sheet, UK printed poster matt-black inner-sleeves.
CONDITION Discs Labels: MINT - All are perfectly clean unworn with a single spindle trails around the center hole on labels 1, 2 3 - two of which made by stacking in the factory Visual: MINT- All playing surfaces are clean glossy with nothing more than a few very light scuffs from storage inside the unforgiving rough black inners.
There are no scratches, fingernail scuffs or any other significant blemishes on either disc, both of which lie 100 flat when playing.
Audio: MINT - As expected, all tracks on this exquisite copy play superbly.
Our careful play-check of both discs at volume revealed no trace of any groove/playwear, clicks or ticks.
A hint of unavoidable regular vinyl background is audible in some of the quieter passages but overall there is precious little to fault on this keeper copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT This rare wide-spine cover has been stored in a clean, non-smoking environment and has retained a perfect whiteness all over with no yellowed areas or blemishes.
All outer panels have an unscratched, unworn high-gloss laminate free form any thumbnail or any other type of mark.
There are bruises to the front upper left and lower right corners but that really is the only factor which prevents a higher grade.
All of the top opening edges are razor-sharp and both panels inside the gatefold are as new .
The stereo indicator is clearly readable in the upper right corner of the rear panel.
All seams are smooth unstressed and the wide-spine is fully worded and covered with no split or flaking laminate.
Poster: MINT Photos: MINT Photo Protector Sheet: MINT Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT Both are clean flat with just a little wear to the corner of one, but no tears or seam splits to either.
A true keeper copy which would be very difficult to upgrade.
