ONE IN A MILLION 7 FREDEREEK HERNANDO b/w DOUBLE SIGHT . Issued in the UK in 1967 on the MGM label Cat No. MGM 1370. Exceptionally rare late 60s UK issued Psych/Freakbeat record. Not sure what the current RRPG value gives but my out-dated one shows it to be 1000 - of course that is for a top copy and this one isn t that....read on. From what I can find it rarely surfaces and of the few sales noted I see that way back in 2006 it sold for 720 so please forgive my 100 start price for a lesser condition - I normally start and get just what I can but sometimes when something is so rare a low price might seem misleading - people may suspect it to be a repro for eample. It is not, it is a genuine original note the matrix numbers are 7XSM 1483-1U and 7XSM 1484-1U .
Comes in MGM company sleeve. Labels are tidy, show some playmarks on labels.
Condition of Vinyl as follows:-
Side 1 - FREDEREEK HERNANDO. GOOD Qualified thus - some general light surface marks are present and whilst these do not affect play there is a scratch across the whole side of the record which causes audible clicks per revolution for at least 3/4 of the playing time, these subside as the record plays through but for the 1st 2/3rd of play they are evident although thanks to the dominance of the music these clicks accompany rather than dominate and the record is still an enjoyable play with nice clear playback. Side 2 - DOUBLE SIGHT. VERY GOOD Qualified thus - has some light very minor wispy surface marks but plays fine with no apparent deterioration in playback.
All Records and CDs are Thoroughly Played to Assess Condition in Addition to a Visual Inspection. Record posted using proper mailer with stiffeners, PVC sleeve, and record and sleeve separated.
