The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Introducing The Beatles" LP, Vee Jay VJLP 1062, released in 1964. This is a very scarce Stereo pressing. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG- condition with each side having numerous, non-feelable, marks, but I don't see anything that would interfere with play. Both sides still retain some gloss. Labels are also in VG- condition, with numerous spindle marks. This is an authentic, well loved LP. Cover is also in VG- condition It has some general age wear, more noticeable on the back, which also has some foxing. There are partial top and bottom seam splits which have been repaired with glue, not tape. I tend to think that the Sears store baggie it's in is not original to the LP, although it was in it when I got it. This comes with it's original inner sleeve, with slits at both sides and some tears along the top. Rare piece of Beatles vinyl; though far from pristine, this is hard to find in any condition.
