Considered to be one of most Influential and Iconic Albums of the 20th Century, this is an original 1968 UK Apple Records mono, two vinyl LP Set for The Beatles 1968 White Album Release, entitled The BEATLES .

This set is 100 complete, and has a top opening, Gate-fold Sleeve with, two original UK first issue stereo LPs, Four original Full Colour glossy photographs one of each Beatle, an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, Two original 1968 Black inner record bags. The set is housed within its original stereo printed, First Issue, Fully Laminated top opening numbered, No.0495691, Gate-fold Sleeve.

LP Description/Condition:

The two First Issue stereo vinyl LPs are on the traditional Dark Green Apple label, all with the Sold in UK label text, the, E.M.I. Recording Reference, on all four sides.

All four record labels in superb Excellent condition, undamaged record labels with clear black print, and just a few signs of play around the centre spindle holes on each label.

LP 1, Side 1 matrix YEX 709-1 Side 2 YEX 710-1.

LP 2, Side 3 matrix YEX 711-1 Side 4XEX 712-1.

LP 1, Side 1 stampers 1 TA Side 2 stampers are 1 G

LP 2, Side 3 stampers 3 OG Side 4 stampers are 1 TP

There is a K J T Tax Code on the centre of the side 4 record label.

All four sides of the vinyl LPs are in Very Good Plus condition, the vinyl LPs show some light surface scratches and light surface hairlines.

Having played all four sides, they play with great sound quality throughout all the tracks, there are no skips or distortion, just a couple of light clicks and light background crackle.

Each LP comes in their original Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in very nice Excellent condition, the bags do have some light inevitable creasing, but no tears, one bag has a small seam split.

.And are housed in it s stereo printed Garrod and Lofthouse Gate-fold Sleeve. This first issue sleeve is Top Opening and numbered 0495691, printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording The BEATLES is embossed and printed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal Black and White Images of each of The Beatles, together with the song track listing and is in Very Good Plus condition with no major damage with just light age toning, a little laminate flaking to the spine edge and bumps to all four corners.

There are Four original 1968 Full Rich and Deep Glossy Colour Photographs one of each Beatle - All four Photographs are all in Excellent condition, no tears, just light tape marks on the borders.

And includes an original 1968 Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric/Picture Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is in undamaged Excellent Plus condition, the poster is superb, with no pin holes or tears.
