Item Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP especially in this condition by Pink Floyd called Dark Side Of The Moon and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1973 UK EARLIEST Transparent Triangle Pressing - and has a completely UNIQUE COLOURED LABEL, that was NEVER used before or since THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD S MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE LIKE THIS HOWEVER THIS LP IS MADE REALLY SPECIAL INDEED AS IT IS THE RAREST POSSIBLE VERSION OF THIS LP EVER MADE - AND WAS ONLY PRESSED LIKE THIS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME ONLY I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS SO MASSIVELY RARE

THIS LP WAS RELEASED IN 1973 - JUST BEFORE THE HARVEST LABEL CHANGE - FROM THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT, TO THE EMI RECORDS EDGE TEXT. IN FACT THIS LP IS ONE OF THE LAST LPs EVER TO BE RELEASED WITH THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT ON THE HARVEST LABEL AND, AS MANY PEOPLE WILL ALREADY KNOW - THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAD A SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE - AND THIS WAS CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE TO MATCH THE COVER . NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT WAS CHANGED AT ALMOST THE SAME TIME - AND DROPPED IN FAVOUR OF EMI RECORDS TEXT THAT FOLLOWED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS HOWEVER - JUST BEFORE THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT CHANGED AND JUST AFTER THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLES ENDED, ONLY A TINY HANDFUL WERE PRESSED WITH A TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE AND GRAMOPHONE COMPANY LABEL EDGE TEXT AND THIS MAKES THIS LP VERY VERY RARE INDEED ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS - AND IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST POSSIBLE VARIATION OF THIS LP EVER MADE

BUT THERE IS ALSO 1 MASSIVE ADDED BONUS TO THIS LP WHICH MAKES IT THE EARLIEST STANDARD 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AS THIS LP HAS 1 MORE AMAZING RARITY THAT ALL LATER ONES NEVER HAD WHEN THE LABELS WERE FIRST CHANGED FROM THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE TO THE TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE - THE COLOUR WAS INCORRECT ON THE EARLIEST TRANSPARENT TRIANGLES ONLY THEY INCORRECTLY USED EXACTLY THE SAME COLOUR AS THE MIDDLE OF THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE ON THE TRANSPARENT LABELS - WHICH WAS FAR TOO LIGHT, AND STILL HID SOME OF THE TEXT IT ALSO OF COURSE, STILL DIDN T MATCH THE COVER FRONT - WHICH WAS THE WHOLE REASON FOR THE CHANGE IN THE FIRST PLACE THIS WRONG COLOUR ERROR WAS CORRECTED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY - AND IF YOU COMPARE THIS EARLIEST TRANSPARENT PRESSING THIS ONE - WITH ANY LATER PRESSING, YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT IT IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WRONG COLOUR LATER ONES ARE TURQUOISE - ON THIS LABEL THE TRIANGLE IS SIMPLY VERY LIGHT BLUE AND ALSO MUCH THICKER AND FAR MORE SOLID LOOKING ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE EARLIEST TRANSPARENT LABELS WITH GRAMOPHONE TEXT WERE EVER MADE LIKE THIS - AND MAKES THIS THE ALL TIME RAREST VERSION OF THIS LP EVER MADE

AND THIS LP IS CLEARLY THE ALL TIME RAREST VERSION EVER MADE ON ONE LABEL - YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT THE TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL SOLD BLUE TRIANGLE LIGHT BLUE COLOUR, WHEREAS THE OTHER LABEL HAS THE BRIGHT TURQUOISE BLUE TRIANGLE, WHICH WAS DESIGNED TO MATCH THE COVER AND YET BOTH STILL HAVE THE ULTRA RARE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY LABEL EDGE TEXT ONLY 200-300 COPIES COULD HAVE EVER HAVE BEEN MADE LIKE THIS - AND IT IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE ALL TIME RAREST VERSION OF THIS LP EVER MADE

THIS LP IS ALSO 100 COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL COLOUR POSTERS, FASSON STICKERS LATER ONES ARE DIFFERENT , AND BLACK POLY LINED DIE-CUT INNER SLEEVE LATER ONES DONT INCIDENTALLY - I HAVE NO HISTORY WITH THE BLACK INNER SLEEVE, AND ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO SILVER TEXT ON THE INNER - IT STILL HAS THE CORRECT SHAPE, FLIPBACKS ON THE INNER EDGE, AND IS POLY LINED SO IT COULD EASILY BE THE CORRECT INNER FOR THIS LP FROM THIS PERIOD NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASN T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL AND THE POSTERS STICKERS DONT EVER LOOK TO HAVE LEFT THE COVER JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK EARLIEST STANDARD TRANSPARENT PRESSING ON THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE LIGHTER BLUE TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE HARVEST LABEL WITH GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT, ULTRA RARE MISMATCHED DIFFERENT COLOUR LABELS, BLACK POLY LINED INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE COLOUR POSTERS FASPRINT BACKED STICKERS, AND GARROD LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD COVER THIS IS EASILY THE RAREST POSSIBLE VARIATION OF THIS LP EVER PRESSED AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY This is the ORIGINAL Harvest UK Pressing from 1973 and is in SUPERB condition The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SHVL 804 on the ORIGINAL Harvest label see picture and is a UK Stereo Pressing there were NO Monos

The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO writing, NO wear apart from a TINY trace of touching in around the centre holes , and only a few VERY light spindle marks IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. Thanks again - Graham XXXRecords.

PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt.
MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS I always undercharge on postage :- Due to UK Royal Mail s obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little. Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002. However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever. However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100 guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out. Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself. On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package please check it when you recieve it . I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference. THAT IS MY 100 POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I ll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged. Any questions - please ask
