The item was described incorrectly in the EBay ad and the photo didn't match the item sent. The photo was of the Matchbox Thunderbirds Tracy Island Electonic Playset, but the item sent was instead a much smaller scale Japanese Tracy Island model set. On the plus side, the seller accepted the return and refunded the selling price. On the minus side I was out of pocket for the return shipping and the import fees.

Hi- Ebay charged me for a item and shipping refund of $179. Let me know if you didn't get that and I'll Venmo you the difference and take it up with Ebay. It was my mistake but not intentional.

Correction. Kboelt refunded the selling price and shipping in full. Kboelt also followed up to offer to reimburse my import fees if I'm not able to receive a refund from the government. Kboelt has been diligent in communicating and offering to ensure that I am not out of pocket for this mistaken purchase so I would rate them as a very honest seller.
