  • I was there

The shows in March Johnny Winter And were the original headlines. Then they flipped where Johnny Winter opened for the Almans. The show on June 27 was the last show at The Fillmore East. The show was not open to the public. The Allmans only played for about a hour and a half. I listened to this show on the radio and it was nothing compared to what I saw the night before where they played for at least 3 1/2 hours. It was daylight when we exited the theater. This show may have even been better than the show in March that was recorded for the album. Albert King and The J Giles Band opened on the final weekend. I was 16 years old and so fortunate to have been there.

  • Album arrived in excellent condition

You gotta love the Allman Brothers when Duane was alive and the band flouished with some of the best music then and even today. I never tire of listening to this band, one of the best of all time, no question !
