Interlocking zig-zag cut triptych gatefold sleeve design. Center-opening and folds out into a "T" configuration (of 'The Hawk' craft) with flyout pages on inner center panel that contain vinyl. Band photos, artwork, and lyrics on inside.

Some copies contain an a 24-page booklet titled "The Hawkwind Log". The bottom of the back page includes the following text specific to the US release, with errors. The word album is spelled wrong, and the catalog number is incorrect (5557 is the catalog number for [r2136929])
"FROM THE HAWKWIND ALBUMN -- IN SEARCH OF SPACE UAS 5557"
