Both sides of the heavyweight Vinyl LP are in superb Excellent condition. both vinyl surfaces are very clean, showing nothing more than a few light surface hairlines, none of which sound when played, there are no scuffs or deep scratches to either side of this LP.

The LP has been carefully played through all the tracks, and the Sound Quality is superb, the LP plays without major faults, there are no skips, clicks,or pops, side one play’s Excellent Plus a great sound quality with minimal background crackle, side two play’s Excellent with a little more background noise than side one, more noticeable on the intro’s to the tracks, – the LP sits 100% flat on the turntable.

The LP comes in its original Polythene Lined ‘Use Emitex…; inner bag, the inner bag too is in superb Excellent Plus condition, there are no seam splits or tearing, just the usual light creasing.

The LP is housed in it’s original front Laminated E.J. Day three flip Back Sleeve, printed with a large mono to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and Angus McBean Credit to the bottom right hand corner, near to the edge of the front of the sleeve.

This Please Please Me sleeve is one of the better examples. To be honest most sleeves we see are in poor condition and suffer from a lot of wear and tear, however, this one has survived in superb condition for the past 52 years, and is in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus

condition, (see full description and detailed scans below) The Front panel is very flat and firm and still retains its deep gloss and vivid colours. There is no visible record indentation, and just a couple of light creases, see scans below.

The opening edge has minimal wear and is extremely flat. The top and bottom edges of the sleeve are undamaged and free from any splits.

The Spine Edge too is undamaged and the printed wording ‘Please Please Me – The Beatles’ is clearly legible.

The Reverse Panel of the sleeve is remarkably clean and white, with aboslutely no yellowing , all that is visible is light handling signs to the opening edge and a few age spots. All three flipbacks are undamaged, and all printed text and track listing are unfaded, there is no handwriting or tearing to any part of this sleeve.

A really nice example of this first issue original 1963 UK Beatles debut album release.
