HANK MOBLEY - LEE MORGAN Peckin Time
RARE MONO pressing
RVG is machine-stamped in the
dead-wax with "ear" logo on one side as well;
BLUE NOTE 1574 High Fidelity
Jacket and labels have the
47 WEST 63rd - NEW YORK 23 address.
The Vinyl is VISUALLY Graded:
Vinyl looks vg+ to VG++
Vinyl looks carefully played, without the sheen
of an unplayed disc, but with no visible
groove-burn, and only a few minor, faint cosmetic
surface marks on each side.
We spot-checked the sound and there's light,
low-level unobtrusive surface noise only between
tracks or at the very intros / outros.
The bass is tight, the highs are crisp but not bright!
This is a NICE THICK HEAVY pressing!
excellent condition jacket,
with nice semi-glossy lamination on the back,
and thick glossy lamination on the front,
with minimal shelf-wear and a few minor light abrasion marks,
but nothing obvious unless you look very closely;
Theupper-right corner has two small holes, visible on each side,
see close-up photos; Thelower-right corner is worn, see close-up,
and there's a very minor ding on the lower right opening edge;
Thespine and seams are intact.
Back side has detailed liner notes by Ira Gitler,andthis
masterpiece was RECORDED as well as lacquer mastered
by the great Rudy Van Gelder.
