Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean & unworn with nothing more than a small number of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean & retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine, with no clouding or grovve-whitening either side. Apart from a single light, non-feelable mark on side 1, there are no noticeable visual blemishes in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath halogen light reveals little more than a few wispy paper hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this heavy disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing and would be very difficult to upgrade.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This well looked after disc has received minimal careful play and the sound quality is surprisingly high-quality throughout. All tracks are unworn and play cleanly and clearly with no groove/playwear distortion. The only distractions during my play-check were some soft 'pops' on the fade-out of 'I Call Your Name' which continue into the beginning of 'I'll Get You', and a single click on 'I Feel Fine'. However, these minor audible blemishes do little to detract from the fact that this is one of the finest copies of this rarity you will see which would be a highlight of any serious collection.
A very fine example of this unique & fragile cover which was constructed from very thin card. Very few survive in this condition.
The striking front panel retains its sparkling high-gloss laminate bearing just a faint disc impression, but no 'thumbnails' or creasing.
All corners are square & unworn and have not been touched-up'. There is hint wear to the front opening edge, but that is the only significant sign of wear on the entire cover.
There are no tears, repairs or any other significant or major faults anywhere.
The exposed rear panel is clean, white and totally unblemished. The small mark just beneath the centre of the upper flipback is a just the impression of the disc made by storage. All of the delicate flipbacks are clean, unyellowed and fully intact.
All seams are smooth with no flaking or missing laminate.
The unworded spine and both upper and lower seams are unsplit and unstressed.
You would have to go a long way to find a better example of this amazing cover.
This original inner bears a few light storage wrinkles, but is fully intact.
