Beatles. Help. Rarest UK Pressing. 1-EMI box. 1969. *MONO* LP EX-!!!
Rarest Mono Press. Virtually none pressed!!!!
Help! was one of only 3 titles to be pressed in mono on the '1-EMI box
Parlophone label in late-1969. Just a few hundred copies were pressed and barely any sold, making this one of
the rarest & most sought after UK pressings. This rare example is on that scarce 1-EMI box Parlophone label: PMC 1255
pressing matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
codes: 3MDT/ 1ATM (the 1 is followed by squiggle)
Vinyl: Lovely clean shine in regular daylight. But a number of thin scratches and hairlines on both sides mostly noticeable when held up to the light. A scuff over three tracks on side - hardly noticeable in normal daylight, more so when held up to the light. Would grade vinyl EX- overall.
Labels: Apart from noticeable spindling on both sides (see pix), type clean and no writing or marks. EX.
in a correct thin-card, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse'
printed tri-flipback mono cover. Nice overall condition, some yellowing on the laminate.
Inner: Standard pink and white EMI advertising inner sleeve.
