Here is a great rare original release on the Blue Note label. It is true blue by Tina Brooks. BLP 4041. Deep groove. 47 West 63rd NYC address on the label. RVG stamp in dead wax. Ear in dead wax. This one is tough to find.
Condition -The jacket shows light general wear. There is a little bit of creasing and splitting at the upper right corner and a very little bit of chipping on the side on the front. The jacket grades at VG+. The record has shine, and both labels look fantastic, but the vinyl has several marks and scuffs from use. By sight the record grades at VG. I listened to both sides. They played through nicely with light to moderate background noise, as well as some other periodic heavier noise like ticks. Mostly the static is only noticeable between tracks and in the quiet parts. Generally it does not compete with the music, but it is persistent in most places. I found this to be a decent listening experience. Overall, the record plays a little bit better than it looks, but the listening grade is still about VG, maybe a little bit better.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade
Mint on unsealed opened records, discs or tapes. The highest grade I
give to unsealed records, discs or tapes is Near Mint. Grading here is
strictly by sight.
