On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by
The Beatles called 'Let It Be' (BOX SET) and is an ORIGINAL1970 UK 1st
pressing on the 1st Press Apple label!!!! THISBOX SET ISSERIOUSLY
RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST
BEATLES ITEMS EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1970 WHEN THIS BOX SET WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN VERY SMALL AMOUNTS (AS A BOX SET!) AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED!!!! AS A RESULT, IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOW!!!! NOT ONLY
THAT BUT THIS INCREDIBLE BOX SET IS 100% COMPLETE IN EVERY WAY - WITHA 1ST PRESS
'RED' APPLE LOGO ON THE COVER BACK OF THE LP,A 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS'
WHITE INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS BLACK CARD UNDER TRAY, 1ST PRESS 'BOOK HOLDER' (NOT A REPLACEMENT!), 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS
PENDING' OUTER LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER, AND 1ST
PRESS'GET BACK BOOK' HOUSED IN A BLACK CARD TRAY!!!! THE MATRIXES
ARE THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - BEING 773-2U & YEX 774-2U (LATER ONES WERE HIGHER!)!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!
BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT ISAN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSING!!!!
AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS BOX SET!!!!
1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE
THAN A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR
'IN-HOUSE' USE BY EMI / APPLE THEMSELVES(FOR PROMOTIONAL
PURPOSES), TAKEN BY EMPLOYEES AT THE TIME (BY PERMISSION OF THE
MANAGEMENT), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT
VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!!
THEY WERE NEARLY ALWAYS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE (AS IN THIS CASE!) - AND ARE NOW VERY VERY HARD
FIND!!!! AND OF COURSE, ALTHOUGH YOU CAN NEVER BE 100% CERTAIN THAT
ON THIS BOX SET FROM NEW (UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FULL LPs HISTORY!) - IN
THIS CASE, I HAVE EXAMINED THE STICKER VERY CAREFULLY INDEED - AND IT IS
100% GENIUNE (NOT A RE-PRINT!), AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF
'RE-STICKING'!!!! THE STICKER IS ALSO 100%
FLAT TO THE TOUCH TOO - LEADING ME TO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT IT HAS
ON THIS BOX SET FROM NEW, AND THE STICKER ITSELF IS DEFINITELY 100% GENIUNE
IN ALL RESPECTS!!!! BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS BOX SET LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING
THIS BOX SET OF THE UTMOST RARITY (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION!)!!!!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSTER!!!! Most Beatles Collectors already know this - so for them, this part will be a little bit tedious. But for those who dont know - it is important to note, that the 'Apple Advertising' Poster was never designed for this Box Set AT ALL - and most Box Sets never EVER had it from Day One. In fact, when you look at the poster it is fairly obvious - mainly because the last Apple LP featured on it was John Lennon's 'Live Peace in Toronto', which had actually been released 6 months prior to the Let It Be Box Set being released! And this is also why this Apple Poster is most commonly found in late 1969 'One Box' Beatles re-issues, or late 1969, early 1970 Apple releases. Unfortunately most of these, are often swopped and put into Box Sets to increase the saleablity. Of course, the proof that this Poster was actually first made in December 1969 is the posters shape! One side is actually shorter than the other, because at the time this poster was made - only 15 LPs were available on the Apple label!!!! And of course, had others been available at that time - then the poster could easily have been made Double Sided in equal parts. Badfinger's 'Magic Christian Music' was released in January 1969 (5 months prior to the 'Let It Be' release date), and also Ringo Starrs 'Sentimental Jouney' was released in March 1969 (2 months before Let It Be) - neither of which were included on this Apple Poster. So it is very clear that this poster was produced in large numbers from December 1969 - and simply designed to go into multiple Apple & Beatles LPs of the period to promote the Beatles Apple label! Personally I have most commonly found this poster in 'one box' Parlophone late 1969/early 1970 Beatles releases on Parlophone. So most likely a lot of these Apple Posters were put inside Beatles LPs for Christmas 1969 as a sales push. Of course, that is certainly not to say that these posters didnt appear in 1st Pressings of 'Let It Be' as they most certainly did! But they were no more common to find inside this Box Set - than any other Beatles release/re-issue of the period, and certainly were never designed for this Box Set. Most 'day of release' Box Sets never had this poster at all - but obviously over the years, with many being swopped from other LPs - a great many more have appeared!!!! That said - it is obviously a nice thing to have with this set, and so I have included a re-production copy with this Set for any winning bidder to enjoy!!!!
THE TRAY AND BOOK HOLDER FOR ONCE ARE 100% GENIUNE IN ALL RESPECTS - AND ARE STILL 100% SOLID AND WORK PERFECTLY!!!! This is 2 parts of this Box Set that are usually swopped and changed. However, I am VERY pleased to say that the Tray and Book Holder in this set are 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESS ITEMS and have been with this Box Set since Day one! And it is INCREDIBLY rare to find a 100% SOLID 1st Press book holder - as most are in bits now!!!! Bidders may have also noticed a different coloured black Book Holder and tray in my last picture? Well, aswell as the 100% GENIUNE 1st Press tray & book holder - I will ALSO supply with this book set a re-production tray and book holder (in MINT condition) which means that the winning bidder can use these items to store the LP & Book correctly inside the outer box - whilst FULLY protecting the ORIGINAL 1st Press Book Holder & Tray! I thought these 'extra' items were worthy additions to this Box Set - and certainly offers an alternative to damaging the ORIGINAL 1st Press contents!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS BOX SET IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND THE RECORD HAS CLEARLY NOT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! THE 'BOOK HOLDER' STILL HOLDS THE BOOK PERFECTLY, AND THE UNDER TRAY IS COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED!!!! EVEN THE OUTER BOX RETAINS A VERY NICE SHAPE - AND IS NOT SQUASHED AND FLATTENED LIKE MOST YOU SEE TODAY!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DARK APPLE LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 2U/2U MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS' INNER SLEEVE, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'UNDER TRAY', 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'BOOK HOLDER TRAY', 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 'RED APPLE' LP COVER, 1ST PRESS 'GET BACK' BOOK, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FULLY LAMINATED PATENTS PENDING 'OUTER BOX'!!!! THIS AMAZING BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This Box Set (as mentioned above) is 100% COMPLETE with the laminated outer casing, the black cardunder tray, the black card book holder, the Get Back Book and the "Let It Be" (red apple) 1st PressLP!!!!The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No. for the Box Set package is PXS 1 and the Cat. No on the record is PCS 7096 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Dark Apple label (see picture) and is a STEREO 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO
wear, NO writing, andonly a few VERY light spindle marks!!!! IT IS
VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNTBEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl
is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a
lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost
unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light
hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERYfew of the lightest paper scuffs only visible
under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST
PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as
STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely
ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear,
and NO distortion either!!!! The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if
not better - and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I
use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!
Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents'
white inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press
'Narrow Spine' Red Apple Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO
edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight
corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is
VERY flat looking), NO annotations, only a VERY small repaired split on the upper opening edge (this is as minor as it gets, is 100% solid and almost INVISIBLE!), VERY shiny laminate, NO edge splits, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully
straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the laminated Red Apple back is in
BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO
yellowing!!!! This cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT RECORD - WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 2U/2U MATRIXES, AND SO VERY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS NOW!!!!
I will now describe the Box Set in GREAT detail - so please take
the time to read EVERYTHING carefully!!!! Firstly the ORIGINAL 1st Press
'Patents Pending' FULLY Laminated Outer Case is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It
retains a SUPERB shape to it - with flat vertical sides and a SUPERB box
shape!!!! There is NO crushing and NO flattening either!!!! It also
has NO laminate lifting AT ALL, NO rips, NO tears, shiny laminate, NO splits, only 2 or 3 TINY indentations (though these are on the VERY edges - so most people wouldnt even notice them - let alone mention them!),
only VERY slight corner wear(NOT through the colour!), NO annotations, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, and the opening
edges are beautifullystraight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Which is also nice about this Outer Case is the almost complete lack of creasing!!!! Usually this Outer Case is covered in 'half moon' creases from people trying to access the box. NOT ON THIS ONE!!!! This Outer Case only has a VERY few TINY creases - though even these are VERY few in number, are TINY and ALL confined to the VERY edges - and NOT on the main faces AT ALL!!!! Both the top and bottom of this Outer Box looks VERY flat and VERY nice indeed - and this is EXTREMELY rare on this Box Set!!!! This Laminated 'Outer Case' isin BRILLIANT condition and must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! A BRILLIANT OUTER
CASE!!!! Next is the cardboard fold-over under tray. It has barely ANY wear to the edges AT ALL, retains a VERY nice shape (with only a VERY few isolated creases), NO splits, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, only some VERY slight rubbing (which is almost unavoidable on this part of the cover!), only slight corner wear, and most importantly NO rips and NO
tears AT ALL!!!!The Cardboard Undertray MUST grade Very Good++ if not
better!!!! Next is the cardboard 'book holder'. This is always the most
FRAGILE part of this box set and usually turns up with major tears and
often in bits!!!! Or it is substituted with a re-pro fake item!!!! But NOT this one!!!! Just like the 'Under Tray' and the rest of this Box Set - this Book Holder is 100% GENIUNE!!!! And this one is in very VERY nice condition indeed - and still holds the book PERFECTLY!!!! It only has 3 or 4 light creases, and even in the corners (where this book holder is usually ripped to bits!) I can only see a very VERY small repaired split in each corner!!!! And the repairs are VERY small indeed, there is NO tape, and most people wouldnt even spot them!!!! This is one Book Tray that has NEVER been in 'bits' - and it is truly remarkable that it has survived this well!!!! A good sign of a VERY nice 'book holder' is when you hold it on a thicker side in one hand. And this one passes that test SUPERBLY!!!! Because when you hold it on one of the thicker sides in 1 hand it still retains a SUPERB 'stiffness' to it
(ie - it DOES NOT 'flop' when you hold it on one of those thicker edges!)!!!! It also has NO edge wear,
NO tearing to the perforations, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL, NO feathering, and barely ANY rubbing!!!! The
Book Holder MUST grade Very Good+ if not better - and is near IMPOSSIBLE to find in this condition today (most are in bits - or have been changed!)!!!! I have also included a MINT re-production set of book holder & under tray (see picture) so the winning bidder can use these to store the box set - without damaging the ORIGINAL 1st Press items!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Get Back' Book
is also in SUPERB condition with NO loose pages, STUNNING glossy
laminate, barely ANY creases AT ALL, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL, and otherNO wear!!!! The only MEGA minor thing to
mention is that the front of the book has started to curl fractionally (barely ANY!)
- but this really is as MINOR as it gets, and most people would never even mention it!!!! It must grade FULL
Excellent if not better!!!! A SUPERB BOOK!!!! THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):- Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little. Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002. However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever. However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out. Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself. On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!). I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs! And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference. THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER! No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged. Any questions - please ask!

To answer a couple of questions - both the under tray and book holder are definitely 100% geniune and EXACTLY as described. They are slightly rubbed (also as described) though this doesnt show up fully in the camera shots (which is why it is always important to read the descriptions fully). But there are definitely no hidden damage and NO repairs (apart from those detailed in the book holder). So be 100% assured that ALL parts are 100% geniune in every respect - and are EXACTLY as described!
