An absolute stunning looking disc which still
retains its original factory sheen. Side one is a whisker away from an all out
mint grade and is completely unmarked. Even under an intense halogen desklight
nothing more is revealed other than one or two of the faintest whispy sleeve
removal marks. Side 2 is also unmarked with the exception of a very light non
feelable surface mark on track one which appears and disappears depending on
how the record is angled towards the light.
A stunning sounding audiophile copy
and possibly the finest sounding copy I have heard. Plays with the quietness of
a CD but with all the analogue richness of vinyl. There is no deterioration to
the sound quality whatsoever and all tracks have the sharpness and clarity of
the original recording. The opening burst of Help! from the silent run-in is
stunning as indeed are all the tracks. All gaps are silent with only the sound
of natural vinyl detectable at high volume. What makes this record particularly
rare and desirable is the perfect audio version of the classic track
‘Yesterday’. The analogue and original mono version of ‘Yesterday’ is the
definitive version. There are no pops or ticks and the record does not jump or
stick. This record brings to life this fabulous album. It will not disappoint.
There are a number of spindle trails to each label visible
when the record is angled towards the light. All the silver lettering is unworn
and the labels have retained their original freshness. The KT tax code is
visible on side 2. There is no writing to either label or evidence of any
former ownership or personalization.
An original 1st issue patents pending
Garrod & Lofthouse cover dating to the original release date of 1965. The
front panel retains its original high gloss laminate sheen and is un-yellowed. Unlike
later covers, the original 1965 covers were cream in appearance and have
progressively become more white as the decade went on. There is a faint disc
impression towards the opening edge of the cover and there is some minor wear
and bruising to the bottom right hand corner. The rear panel is in superb nr
mint condition is free from any writing or marks and shows no signs of ageing. The
spine is uncrushed and all the flipbacks are solid and intact. A well preserved
Inner-sleeve Excellent +
Original and correct Emitex rice paper inner with
