Nirvana Pennyroyal Tea Original 1994 Cd Sonopress I 2211/ged21907

You are bidding on a genuine 1994 withdrawn CD, NOT A COPY of the German/EU CD single of Pennyroyal Tea.
Never played, both the CD and the sleeve are mint.
This is the original, not the GED 21907 bootleg or any other fake release.
I have tried my best to take photos of the matrix/runout on the CD, Pics 3/4 and 8 please excuse the reflections of both my fingers and my phone.
It is: SONOPRESS I-2211/GED21907 A 2 This copy also has the IFPI code 0793 stamped on the inner plastic ring of the disc.
See pic 8 The NIRVANA text on the disc IS Purple, not black, but it may be hard to see in pics, because of both my phone and the fact it is a very deep purple.

More info: Pennyroyal Tea was recalled shortly after Cobain s death in April, 1994.
At the time the only retail versions of the CD that had been manufacturedwere from Geffen s German plant.
The singles were recalled by the record company and destroyed but some escaped destruction.
The obvious reason for the cancellation of the single was because one of the B-side songs had the title I Hate Myself and Want to Die , although it may well have been cancelled anyway so that it did not seem like the record label was profiting from Cobain s death.
The recalled singles were destroyed in the presence of people from the record label however distribution employees managed to put some copies aside which seems to be the main source for the copies that have survived.
