ORIGINAL NORWAY 1971 TEXTURED
This is an ULTRA RARE prog-album,
and most certainly one of the absolutely RAREST items to find within the Scandinavian seventies progrock genre
It is an ORIGINAL COPY of this
mega rare norwegian prog album, and in fact the first double album ever to be
released in Norway.
The beautiful fold-out cover
reveals a dark and dusk photo from the deep forest woods in Norway. The outer
textured cover art painting origins from (now) worldwide famous Norwegian
artist Odd Nerdrum(David Bowie reportedly is a fond collector of Nerdrums
early art masterpieces)
Musically this is in the
landscape of contemporary other nordic mega proggers like Aunt Mary(NOR),
Pan(DEN), Old Man and the Sea (DEN) and Kalevala(FIN). But also in various parts
reminds the experienced proglistener of Vertigo swirl biggies like Gravy Train,
Still Life etc. Finally and most of all Junipher Greene had their own distinct musical identity with
lots of flute, moogs, vibraharps and some very strong guitar work.
English lyrics. This is quite a legendary item, and one of the crown jewels of
the early Scandinavian progressive scene.
Norway/Sonet SLP 1413-1414
Both discs are in fantastic shape and playgrade is EX for all four sides. It plays with depth. The textured original
cover have some age wear on spine and edges, but overall it is a very nice cover with NO writing or names on it. This is very rare as it is a very fragile cover for wear.
Condition: Vg(cover spine wear) Vinyl: Ex / Ex and Labels: NM
Except for some spine No writing
or other wear worth to mention. See pictures
