Item Description

I am the original owner of this item. Up for auction is one Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Box Set "The Beatles The Collection" number 17,279 (of 25,000 produced). Original box set containing 13 Albums (14 LPs) remastered at ½ speed from the original tapes, then pressed on JVC Supervinyl. Each LP is stored in a state-of-the-art MFSL inner sleeve within a heavy stock insert and then housed in a sturdy outer, acid-free jacket.
Out of print for almost 30 years.
I bought this one exactly 30 years ago in February, 1984.
The brass hardware is slightly tarnished.
Each LP has been played only twice.
This item will ship in the original MFSL cardboard shipping crate with styrofoam corner inserts.
Check the photos to see the condition of everything. Feel free to contact me with questions.

Original Artwork Booklet with Hand numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity
GEO-DISC Cartridge alignment disc
Inside, there's the booklet with the certificate of authenticity on the inside of the cover showing that it’s Limited Edition Number 17,279.
The Geo-Disk has never been used.
One of the things I love about this set is that each sleeve has a photo of the inside label from the original tape. You can see notes hand written by the engineers at Abbey Road studios.

It's my understanding that the only time the master tapes left Abbey Road was for the production of this MFSL box set. Thanks for looking.
