Label:   MON’CA (Washington, D.C.).  Label is yellow with black text.  Stamped “D.J. Copy – Not For Sale.”  Catalog number is M-1783. 

Year:  1971

Condition:  “Five Minutes” side is very nice VG+ with most of original gloss remaining.  There are a couple scuffs and a light hairline scratch, but these are for the most part not audible, and the side plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  I have included sound clips from both sides so you can hear the quality.

The flipside (That Was The Day), a ballad, would grade VG due to a few tics that affect the first 5 seconds of the tune.  The fidelity on this side is also quite strong, as you can hear in the sound clip.

Overall a very fine copy of this rare and excellent soul single penned by the great CLIFTON DYSON.
