MINT (M)(10): Record has no scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, no writing, tears or splits It appears to be as If it is brand new on the day it was purchased or sealed.
NEAR MINT (NM)(9): A record that is otherwise Mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect the play.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)(8): This record has been handled and played either infrequently or very carefully. This could mean that there are light paper scuffs, few pops, or slight scratches that will not affect the play. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK, Overall a good collectible.
VERY GOOD (VG)(7): This record could show signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails from countless spins on the turntable. A VG record may have some audible surface noise when played, although any such noise should not overwhelm the music.
GOOD (G)(6): Good should mean the record has been well played with any number of defects such as complete loss of surface sheen, aggravating surface noise etc. but can still be played without skipping.

A wonderful addition to add to your collection! Don't Miss it!

Celebrity Buddhist - the Late Teresa Teng
To billions of Asian people (including Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Malaysians, etc,) the beautiful soft singing voice of the late pop singer Teresa Teng will ever live in their hearts. Born in 1953 of the daughter of an Air Force Colonel in Taiwan, she started her singing career as a teenager idol in 1964 in a Taiwan TV station singing competition. She became popular almost instantly when her first record was sold in 1969 in Singapore. During the seventies, when China just emerged from its cultural revolution, her soft singing voice could be heard everywhere in the world where Chinese immigrants lived. In China, people "listened to Old Deng (i.e, Deng Xiao-ping) in the daytime but to Young Deng (ie, Teresa Deng Lai-jun) in the evening." She never did got married. Several of her love affairs, including her date with the now famous movie star Jacky Chan, both of them were single in the 70"s, were never fruitful (to the disappintment of their fans!) She died of asthma (allergic reaction?) in Thailand in 1995 and was buried in Taiwan according to Buddhist ceremony.
On May 8th 1995, 43-year-old Teresa Teng died from a severe asthma attack while on a trip to Thailand. When the tragic news was released, it was as if an enormous boulder had been dumped into the lake of the global Chinese community, sending ripples in all directions. It was not only ordinary Chinese in Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China, and Southeast Asia who were saddened by the incident and thought fondly of their many memories. The media devoted a tremendous amount of space to the story, and many groups bestowed posthumous honors and accolades on Ms. Teng. The staff at her record company in Japan wore black armbands for a week. Teresa's death was reported in the New York Times and Time magazine, and these journals described her enormous impact on fans of Chinese music.
Teresa Teng was popular in Chinese societies worldwide for three decades. Even though she has left us, for countless fans she will always be their "eternal sweetheart."
