Item Description

An absolute keeper original GERMAN press, with picture sleeve, of the third PINK FLOYD single - the band s final 45 with original leader/guitarist/singer/frontman SYD BARRETT - Apples and Oranges b/w the Rick Wright song Paint-Box - both sides produced by NORMAN SMITH.
Unlike the first two Syd Barrett singles Arnold Layne and See Emily Play, Apples and Oranges was not even a modest hit anywhere it was released in the world the record never came out in America, although Pink Floyd still performed the song on AMERICAN BANDSTAND with Dick Clark , and, hence, it is much, much more rare than the earlier singles.
This is the most perfect example I ve ever seen.
Record is a beautiful NM Sleeve is EX to NM Matrixes are: 7XCA-30453-1/7XCA-30454-1.
German Columbia/EMI catalog number is: C 23 674 45-DW 6646 .
Potential bidders particularly foreign bidders , PLEASE NOTE.
I am happy to send this record insured and with full-declared customs value, at your cost, if this is your preference.
However, as you re aware, anything over about 40 US declared comes with an extremely high additional cost to you on the other end, when the package is received and, to my knowledge, international insurance is very expensive as well.
Also, please be aware that, in the rare event that the package is lost, I WILL NOT be responsible for any compensation to you.
I will immediately provide all customs documentation, as well as links to the USPS tracking system with all assigned customs numbers, but, especially international bidders, there is a risk involved, and that risk is entirely your own.
I say this because I have had exactly one package lost by the Royal Mail in over ten months of selling.
I provided all documentation to prove that I sent the package to the correct address at the correct time and also that it had been processed by the USPS.
However, eBay credited the buyer, and I was out of pocket.
It is very unlikely that this package would be lost during its course of shipment after sale, but, again, if it is, the loss would be entirely yours.
