Where necessary they are separated from their PVC cover when being shipped to avoid the disc splitting the cover.The sound quality of picture discs is usually not to the standard of normal vinyl and this particularly applies to early 12 /LP discs c.1978 to early 80s .5 discs actually they can vary from 5 to 6 -127 mm - 152 mm are of inferior sound quality.
The grooves are too compressed and the vinyl covering thin.
