Time marches on, so it s time to start clearing out some of my collection.
After all, I can t play them after I m gone.
Here s what little history I know about this series:In 1994, Capitol issued a series of 15 7-inch singles from their CEMA Special Markets Division with For Jukeboxes Only printed on the label, followed by another series of 15 discs in 1996, making them the rarest stock-copy Beatles singles ever released in the USA.
I ve read that the entire series included 11 singles that had never appeared on 7-inch vinyl in the US before but I haven t dug through reference books to verify this.
What I have for sale is the unplayed, complete, mostly colored vinyl 45-rpm collection on the Capitol Purple Label.
Each record and its color is listed below.
Please note this set does NOT include the two rare factory color misprints.
These records have never been played.
Heck, none of them have even been placed on a turntable they ve never even been out of their sleeve until this photo was taken.
Therefore, they ve been visually graded only.
I m one of those who doesn t believe that any record is perfect, so even though they ve never been played I m grading them as Near Mint or Mint Minus, if you will .
Each record is in the plain white factory sleeve it was shipped in.
