Offered for bid is the ultra rare Beatles 45 Rpm record-Please Please Me/Ask Me Why.
Vee-Jay VJ 498 original first US issue from 1963.
1st label variation with Beatles spelled Beattles .
Oval Vee Jay Logos.
Machine stamped Audio Matrix in dead wax MR in a circle on both sides..One side hand etched 63-2967 with triangle 46527.
other side hand etched 632968 triangle,46527.Very small RA on both sides.
Vinyl is solid VG on Please,Please Me side and solid VG on Ask Me Why side with both sides playing VG or better with no pops,surface noise or skips.
Labels are clean and excellent with just feint ridge wear.
Original Vee Jay sleeve is excellent on one side and just a couple of creases on the other side.
No writing.
