Item Description

DESCRIPTION: Red Alert- Third and Final / Border Guards E.P.
One of the most sought after UK punk records.
Original UK press on the Guardian label, complete with homemade card/xerox print sleeve with flaps inside.
Only 250 copies made.
My own copy for a good few years until a recent upgrade.
Vinyl has been kept outside the sleeve in a separate white inner and cover in a poly sleeve inside a larger poly sleeve.
Im only selling this copy to raise funds for other records.
If i reach my target before this sells ill take it off.
Postage cost includes insurance. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Guardian GM-RA B61 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1980 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION VINYL/COVER : VG/VG.
Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen.
Fairly lightly played- check out the labels.
I bought it graded as VG and i do not think it is far off that.
Played both sides of this tonight on my budget deck.
Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.
The music on both sides is clear and loud.
Its a nice sounding copy and has never had any issues.
The cover is in much better than average shape.
Again its not too far off VG .
It has only light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing.
It has a couple of areas of discolouration- see photo 7.
It has no splits, tears, writing, stickers or sticker marks.
Also see the final photo for how the sleeve was constructed.
Very clean labels, hardly any spindle wear- check out the photos.
No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP.
Grading system: I use UK s Record Collector Grading system.
I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly.
Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
I will at times use a or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING.
RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY 1.75 TO EUROPE, 2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND 3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
