The UK Rare Record Price Guide lists this LP as Vertigo 6360 050 with a small swirl label. But this is Vertigo 6360 049 with a big swirl. On the run-off grooves, side A matrix no. is 6260049 1Y // 420 1 1 and side B matrix no. is 6260049 2Y // 420 1 1. But note the hash should be an inverted triangle symbol Presumably / obviously this is the first UK pressing which I presume the guys at TRRPG are not aware of. Small swirl labels are typically later issues I think but I m no expert on the matter.

I m clearing my Vertigo etc. collection as have some major building work to fund so here tis.

The cover as shown is a non-laminated gatefold. It s nice and square and fresh feeling. The spine is good and the inside is nice and clean. No sticker tears on the outer matt sides but commensurate with age they show some very minor scratches and dings when angled in the light and three of the corners have light tip wear again, very minor . I m playing the devil s advocate here as it really is a great example and I rate it 8.5 /10 at worse for condition.

The vinyl itself is flat. The spindle hole looks factory fresh which it isn t of course as there are a few spindle marks on the label where someone has tried to find the spindle . I would estimate a couple of plays at best. At first glance it looks near minty but under the light it shows some faint paper or otherwise scuff and handling marks. In grading parlance I would give it an EXC or a conservative 8.5 /10. I don t want to oversell the condition but it is really a great piece worthy of any collection.

The Vertigo polythene lined inner bag is in untorn shape but being 45 years young it does show age and glue browning.
