Issue : UK Complete Original Press
This is a UK original press of Their Satanic Majesties Request by The Rolling Stones. This press is complete with the earlyARL 8126-T2-1P / 8127-T2-1Kmatrix, the heavy grooved Mono unboxed Decca labels, the scarce smoke inner sleeve and the earliest laminatedholographic Robert Stace gatefold sleeve.
The record is inExcellent condition. The heavy, thick vinyl has a stunning bright gloss, every track looks clear with no whitening or significant marks at all. The black vinyl is still bold, there is just the odd very lightest wispy mark. The unboxed grooved Decca label has the original bright blue shine, the silver text is sharp and unworn and there is justthe slightest spindle wear.
On playing the sound is vibrant and clear, there are moments of light background hiss in the quieter moments, but when you play the vinyl loud, exactly as intended, the audioclarity and detail are Excellent. Rich, warm sound from start to finish.
The smoke inner has to be graded as Near Mint. The sleeve does have the very slightestdiscolouration but this does nothing to detract from the bold colour, firm edges with absolutely no wear or splits and the bright white. It is in rare superb condition.
The Robert Staceholographic sleeve is in Excellent condition. The blue is bold and bright, the light blue smoke is clean and the laminate is still flat with the original polished gleam. The hologram is superb - the colours are vivid and the edges are firm. There is just the slightest wear in the top corner. The inside is like new, it is in sensational shape. There is the veryslightest corner wear but this is only minor. Therear of the sleeve has sharp text and clearly displays the Mono TXL text in the bottom corner. The spine is firm and the whole sleeve is in rare solid, superb condition.
