Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre -Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul,Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!!Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completelytrashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided tooffer themto all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid goldmusic history out there!!!Make no mistake, I'lltry my best to consistently offer some of theVERY BESTrecords available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only everofferTHE BEST, MOST AMAZING,MOST IMPORTANT,VERYRAREST UK 1ST PRESSORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDSI've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2ndpressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP,direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixedrubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these sessionmen really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).
I try tobe one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonicallyusing the UK RRPG standardsas customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. Be sure to add me to your favourite sellers list and check my auctions frequently as i'll be listing some gems that you just WON'T want to miss out on!!!
I think that's everything, so let the auction commence!!!

The LP :
ClassicUK Original 1970 Apple labels!!!Both sides are OUTSTANDING with NO real signs of age, NO graffiti, and NO writing OR tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has barely had much play at all!!! FANTASTIC for a 41 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Excellent!!!
Spectacular Original 1970 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, only a few hairlines and age marks, and just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Record : Audio-
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, skips OR sticks!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has possibly the RAREST crackle in few and far between places, only a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions, and just a hint of low level ultra light "bluesman's fag" atmospheric static here and these such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! And that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from 1st Press UK vinyl!!! An outstanding listen! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at least as Excellent minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Original Mail Order only UK 1st press Box Set in FANTASTIC condition!!! 100% complete with thelaminated John Kosh G&L "patents pending" slip case(which only has some minor ageing such as the lightest laminate glazing from storage, a miniscule amount of ultra light creases and just one or two light indent marks in few and far between places to show from it's 45 years of existence, and that’s truly about it!!! AWESOME, uncrushed and as strong as ever - Must grade at the very least asExcellent minus!!!),theoriginalinner box(in FANTASTIC ultra strong shape with only aminiscule amount of whitening to rare parts of the edges and just a small amount of light creasing to one corner, NO tears ar heavy wear whatsoever - Must grade overall at least asVery Good++++!!!), theoriginal inner tray(very often missing or almost ALWAYS in pieces - NOT the case here!!! 100% intact, super strong, in one piece and looking FANTASTIC with NO splits to the joins for once - only has just a small amount of light creases in few and far between places- as good as you’re ever going to get after 46 years- Must grade overall as Excellent!!!), and last but not least, theAWESOME Get Back book(VERY heavy and in AWESOME condition - no loose pages and probably glanced at no more than once or twice - only has a small amount of minor laminate lifting along the spine and a crease line with some laminate lifting to the right of the front where it’s taken a knock, but that’s about it!!!ULTRA clean, strong, solid and totally intact - Must grade overall at least as Very Good++++!!!)
Of course, it includes the original 1970 "Red Apple" G&L 1st Press fully laminated sleeve complete with original unsplit inner!!!IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks AWESOME, especially considering the nature of these notoriously fragile sleeve!!! NO graffiti, NO splits, NO tears, NO writing, NO bad marks, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has some mild signs of light ageing such as just a small amount of light creases and the merest hint of a record imprint, just a little general surface glazing from where it has sat between sleeves over the years (truly minimal), a slight touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing every minor negative I can possibly find, but this remains an AWESOME example of this iconic sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as beautifully presentable as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit, and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good+++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use fromthe years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wearand willplay fantastically wellwith plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
