Item Description

The Manila Machine - 1973 - Asia-Major 6681 Rare!

The Manila Machine, issued on the Asia Major records, #CRG-6681, in 1973.

A six piece group from the Philippines, who toured U.S. Military bases in the Far East during the late sixties and Las Vegas in the seventies.

A ten track disc: "Baby I'm For Real", "Higher And Higher", "Power To The People", "Groove Me", "Lonely Teardrops", "Oh Girl", "Poor Loser", "Any Way I Can", "Puppy Love", and "I Dig Everything About You".

I’ve had this record since 1976. I played it once or twice and then stuck it away. I recently found it again. The record has a few light scuff marks (it didn’t have a sleeve so I stuck it in one) the jacket is slightly yellowed from where the shrink-wrap was torn. The rest of the jacket was covered by shrink-wrap until I took it off.

The last one of these sold for over 500.00!
