Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp s and 45 s in 1971, I have 20,000 which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year.
So it s time to let at least half go.
Most are in at least Excellent condition.
I can t listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

With 2 Excellent Gatefold Sleeves.
Vinyl Excellent Posters and Stickers.
Vinyl - Thick heavy vinyl that is only found on the 1st pressings.
Looks amazing, EX condition but the sound is what really blows you away with this particular pressing.
The best I ve heard of this pink Floyd Classic.
Beautifully clear, precise and crisp.
No clicks or pops and just the lightest of surface noise that you would expect.
I played it on a Pioneer PL 550 with a Shure M44E cartridge.
This unforgiving cartridge will pick up any defects with the pressing and I could honestly hear none.
You can certainly hear the difference of this 1st pressing compare with later pressings, it definitely had a brighter crisper sound.
I guess this is due to being cut direct from the original masterplate.
Audibly it has to be an EX.
Visually it has a few minor faint lines and to be honest you won t see them unless you hold them under a very strong spotlight.
I will therefore grade the vinyl visually as EX but suspect most would call it EX .Inner Sleeve - Original black inner with Patent 1125555 printed on it.Sleeves 2 - Well I think this is as good as it gets.
a, The one I Originally purchased with the album is a Bluey black colour and of course its matt.
With IE 064 05249 AND Stereo on the back top right.
Most of these show wear very easily but this is a one of the better ones.
b, Spare sleeve with the front flap glued, which some say is the very first, proof sleeve..? please if you have any extra info, let me know I would like to find out? The edges are straight with no indentations, corners are sharp with a little rub.
I kept it in a polythene sleeve since new.

With IE 064 05249 AND Stereo on the back top right.light edge wear on the bottom, top right corner has a little scuff about 3mm which has worn away the colour, both I guess this could be touched up with a black pen but not something that I would contemplate doing .
The Spine has a couple of small scuffs, other than that solid.
b.

It has only one side opening with a turned in edge.
With a darker colour, spine a couple of scuffs, both corners rubbed a little way up the spine.
Hopefully all the photos will tell the true story.Posters/Stickers - It contains both posters and stickers.
The back of the stickers have permanent printed on them.

there is a little rubbing on the corners and edges but these 2 sleeves are both matt and have been kept in polythene sleeves in a smoke free home.
Which means there in great condition for there 40 years.
INNER SLEEVE: EXLABELS: Clean, EX no damage or writing.AUDIO GRADING: EX Loud mix, the spoken bits seem more at the front, no distortion, slight background crackle here and there, a pro-clean would be a good idea, as I live far from the city I ve not had it done.GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a or - to my gradings where applicable.MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise it may even jump.The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
PAYMENT:Items must be payed for within five days.

I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.

PACKAGING: I use preformed Hand made and standard mailers with stiffeners.
I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover.
This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
