PINK FLOYD : THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON Very Rare UK 1st Press complete with Correct early issued Garrod Lofthouse Matt Midnight Blue Gatefold Cover , Original black poly-lined inner sleeve with white lower print , 2 Original Posters with white border, 2 original night and day pyramid stickers and the very earliest pressed vinyl with the solid blue labels and Matrix stamper error all in STUNNING CONDITION Most music lovers will be aware of this all time classic lp which has broken so many world records in sales, charts , popularity statistics etc etc a personal favourite of mine This masterpiece was released in March 1973 but the band had played several numbers on the circuit in 1972 under the title Eclipse - A piece for assorted Lunatics A fantastic creation of Genius that deals with the burdons of everyday life that drive people to insanity There are many releases of this album in just about every country but this is the holy-grail original UK 1st Pressing with the quickly withdrawn solid blue triangle label variant which was quickly re-worked to the transparant varaint - due to the difficulty in reading the track listings This example is the extremely rare Matrix error variation where the mother and stamper codes were never stamped i have included a list of every UK pressed variation of this masterpiece below U.K.

This cover has survived very well by most standards , it s not the most durable type of cover and most are extremely worn with storage / handling use / ring wear etc but this is clean and bright both inside and out.There are some very light storage wear marks but these are very minor and it looks better in the flesh than on the images there are no tears, stains or writing present and it still has the promo sticker attached, overall a very nice example and well above the average condition offered with nothing more than a couple of light bruises to the corners and some shelf wear see-pics EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION VINYL Both sides still retain a deep rich glossy shine and look extremely clean and fresh with glass like playing surfaces with no visable blemishes , hairlines or scuffs easy to see and hear that this has been very well cared for stunning example that not only looks like new but sounds crystal clear throught both sides , even between tracks is almost silent, this really is an outstanding example of this maserpiece You will struggle to find a nicer example, don t miss out Visualy and Audibly between EXCELLENT PLUS and NEAR MINT CONDITION see-pics LABELS Original earliest solid blue triangle both labels are in super clean condition with no stickers, writing , stains or wear to the centre hole there are some faint spindle traces but only visable on angled viewing in direct light .
