rims Matrix numbers: XAX 3633-1 XAX 3634-1 Stamper codes: 1/H 1,2/GR Vinyl weight: 148g Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback Garrod Lofthouse printed mono cover original red EMI advertising inner-sleeve CONDITION Disc Labels: EXCELLENT Both are clean unworn bearing only a small handful of light spindle trails around the side 2 label and only two on side 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT Pristine factory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from two faint surface marks on side 1 are unmarked in strong daylight.
Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Hard to find a cleaner copy.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT This well looked after disc has been little played and is completely free from any groove/playwear distortion or crackle.
My single careful playcheck at volume picked up little more than a trace of low-level vinyl background between the tracks on side 1 and a on the fade-in to the 1st track on side 2.
I have downgraded from EX due on to a handful of light clicks on the A Saucerful of Secrets track, but this really is the only distraction in which is otherwise a superb sounding copy of this scarce pressing.
Cover: EXCELLENT A clean strong example with light storagewear and no major faults throughout.
The front panel is unworn unrubbed retaining a fine high-gloss finish with just two tiny thumbnail wrinkles.
There is a hint of shelfwear rubbing to the tips of the lower corners along but no bumps or bruising to any.
There is very slight wear to the opening edge but the exposed rear panel is clean black where it should be with no storage rubbing or even a disc impression and certainly no writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are fully intact as are both seams and the fully worded spine.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT Our grading is strict conservative grading in strong daylight directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK RECORD COLLECTOR standards.
Each record is professionally securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
This item is located in and will be shipped from AUSTRIA.
Tracked airmail postage to UK addresses will be 12 GBP We have play-graded this record on an EMT 950 transcription turntable fitted with a TSD 15 cartridge.
