(UK PHILIPS, SBL 7893, 1969)
Yes folks, you all know why you're looking at this... It's the real deal... An ORIGINAL UK PRESSING of one of the best psych albums to emerge from the UK. Now this album is at legendary status but back then it barely turned any heads, one of life's mysteries...
There's not much more to be said here other than the fact that these are becoming harder and harder to find these days, especially in this kind of condition!! This was clearly only played a few times at the most!! It also sounds GREAT!!
DON'T MISS OUT!! THIS COULD BE YOUR LAST CHANCE TO FIND THIS IN SUCH NICE SHAPE!!
NO RESERVE!! LOW START!! GET BIDDING!!
Vinyl is EX+ : super nice and clean, nice and shiny, labels are super clean with only one spindle mark on side 2, the only thing stopping me from grading this beauty NM (the highest grade I'll give to any record unless it is unopened) is two small non-feelable scratches at the start of side 1 - one going over tracks 1 and 2 and the other going over track 2 (they're actually really hard to spot - it took me a while to see them)... luckily, these do not make a sound at all, both sides look and sound great - such a great pressing!!
Laminated sleeve is VG++ : light disc imprint (which is common with most UK Philips late 60s sleeves), small edge creases, laminate all intact but bubbling at spine on front, corner crease on front top right, spine and top edge are nice and clean with no splits, bottom edge is not split but has two little sections which are a little worn (see 5th and 6th pic - these are the only major flaws), back is nice and clean with only a little wear!!
All in all this is a lovely example that will take you a while to find again!! Good luck!!
