Original 1972 FonoVideo label STEREO pressing, cat . FLP 108, made in Italy.Absolutely one of the best Library production by Italian Jazz pianist Oscar Rocchi. Also released on Music Scene label under the title JUNGLE BIRDS with same matrix number stamped on dead wax. Just incredible and totally killer Jazz-Funk insane album with an outstanding Tullio de Piscopo drumming session to die for. Maestro Oscar Rocchi is here at Piano Fender and organ accompained by his strict collegue Giancarlo Barigozzi on flute and Sax Soprano. Music is signed by advertising jingles man Franco Godi along with Chiarosi , Rocchi s pseudonym. Fantastic and complete album, with the best Jazz-Funk, Funky samples and Jazzy Breaks on side A and stellar Experimental Avantgarde Jazz compositions on side B. Psychedelic and Moody, beatiful as much as RARE in its original edition. Some tracks scored in 1972 and 1973 on Italian TV shows and programmes. One of the most killer gems from Fonovideo cult Library label, division of Minstrel Edizioni Musicali. Originally recorded on Stereo channel and released on 180 grams vinyl.Explosive jam with some ridiculous tracks. Tullio De Piscopo here provides some of the greatest and cripiest drums ever, with stunning oddtempo patterns, tempo changes and Hip Hop Breaks. FANTASTICA is my fave track with blinding De Piscopo s Jazz drumming, killer Fender Rhodes and sweet Barigozzi s Sax Soprano. Totally MENTAL Bboy Funk tune on CONFABULANTE with dope bassline, crazy Wah Wah and Hip Hop drums. More hot drums on ITINERANTE . Mindmelting Psychedelic fluting Jazz-Funk with treated electric piano from IMPREVEDIBILE , very deep sounds. Outstanding Modal Jazz on MORBOSA with superb Nightclub Lounge Sax and pressing drums. Catching driven beats from the amazing TATTILE , reminiscent of Alessandroni s A TRIP AROUND THE WORLD LP on Stella Rec. Giallo Free Jazz tune PAROSSISTICA . Obsessive Electronics and Fuzzy tunes on SISTEMATICA . Mindmelting Electronic vibes on RICORRENTE . Celestial movie theme on PSYCOROMANTICA to completely die for.
