What you are bidding on is a real nice first pressing of the lp THE 13th FLOOR ELEVATORS: THE PSYCHECELIC SOUNDS OF.  This is a classic rock lp on INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS RECORDS, orig USA pressing.  It won't get any better than this. It's like shopping in a time warp!  Beautiful heavy duty sleeve and a mindblowing mono mix.  If you need a great copy of this lp, this is the one.  A psych classic in anyone's book. Nice copies of this are rare as hen's teeth. No seam splits.  Printed by Tanner and Texas on back.

Hailing from Austin, Texas, the members of 13th Floor Elevators were quite possibly the first artists to describe their music as psychedelic. Their lyrics and sleeve notes openly and religiously endorsed the use of drugs (particularly lsd) to alter human consciousness for the better.

The band rattled to the middle of the Hot 100 in 1966 with You’re Gonna Miss Me, anchored by Roky Erickson’s unforgettable yelping vocals, Stacy Sutherland’s guitar, and Tommy Hall’s electric jug runs.
