artist: THE TOMANGOES title:  I REALLY LOVE YOU b/w YOU'VE BEEN GONE SO LONG label: WASHPAN / WM 3125 (ORIGINAL PRESSING) VINYL: VG++ (Vinyl is still shiny & beautiful. Music plays strong & loud throughout with just a tiny hint of light pop & crackle here & there on "I REALLY LOVE YOU" side with a bit more audible pop & crackle on the beginning of "YOU'VE BEEN GONE SO LONG", nothing at all distracting to the true beauty & strength of play. There's a handful of lighter surface marks/scuffs/scratches, nothing really deep or effecting overall strength & enjoyment of play. Please do listen to the tracks taken directly from the actual record. The labels look wonderful both sides with just a tiny hint of shelf wear & two small "x" marks written on A-side. Really Nice!) This auction is for the amazingly legendary, RARE & oh-so-glorious 45 "I REALLY LOVE YOU" b/w "YOU'VE BEEN GONE SO LONG" by THE TOMANGOES. Deadwax has "Nashville Matrix" & "95" stamps etched on both sides & "3125-1" is etched on the A-side deadwax & "3125-2" is etched on the B-side deadwax, which means that this is the real thing, an ORIGINAL PRESSING!!! Original copies almost never come up for sale, especially in such nice condition. This quite possibly is the nicest of the very few original copies that have managed to be found over the years. Truly a collectors dream, likely destined to be considered one, if not THE best Northern Soul finds of the year if not the decade! Past copies have sold for well upwards of 1000 dollars in G+ condition, the last known original copy reportedly sold in England for upwards of 5500 pounds in VG/VG+ condition just over a year ago.
