Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre -Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul,Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!!Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completelytrashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided tooffer themto all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid goldmusic history out there!!!Make no mistake, I'lltry my best to consistently offer some of theVERY BESTrecords available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only everofferTHE BEST, MOST AMAZING,MOST IMPORTANT,VERYRAREST UK 1ST PRESSORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDSI've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2ndpressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP,direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixedrubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these sessionmen really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).
I try tobe one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonicallyusing the UK RRPG standardsas customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. Be sure to add me to your favourite sellers list and check my auctions frequently as i'll be listing some gems that you just WON'T want to miss out on!!!
I think that's everything, so let the auction commence!!!

The LP :
ClassicUK Original Black & Gold“M T”Dick James side B ridge 1st Presslabels!!!Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn't had too much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 52 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good+++!!!
Spectacular Original 1963 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks, and just a few unfeelable cosmetic scuffs (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these minor blemishes interfere with play at all thanks to the deeply pressed quality!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Record : Audio-
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, skips, OR sticks!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has only the very slightest hint of frequency crackle on only the very rarest of occasions (incredibly mild and takes a very well trained ear to notice - a truly ultra clean listen) and possibly just the very RAREST quiet isolated tick here and there, and possibly just the MEREST TOUCH of low level static in the rarest few and far between places such as on the run in grooves and between some tracks, but that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast, majority of the music is TRULY crystal clear - It really does mostly play with a CD-like near black silence, but with that depth, bass, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! EVEN most of the quiet sections!!! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at the very least as Excellent minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Originalfar-right Angus McBean credit UK 1st press 1963 Mono frontlaminated flipback "E.J Day" sleeve complete with original inner!!!IMPOSSIBLEto findthis sleeve in anything approaching a good condition -most arespent, torn and worndue to age andthe lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!!This one is NOT, and looks BRILLIANT, especiallyconsidering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!!NO really bad marks AT ALL, and stillultra strong andsolid after all these years!!! Only has a few signs of light ageing suchas just a tiny amount of ultra light creases and the merest ghost of a record imprint, only some very minor general ageing to the unlaminated backsuch as only the very slightest dulling and only a touch of general ultra mild ageing to the white colour (truly minimal andstill ultra cleanfor a 52 year old sleeve -absolutely NO writing, graffiti, ugly stains OR coffee cup rings whatsoever!!!),a little creasing to the far right of the bottom flipback with only a little piece missing to the far right of the top flipback and the far left tip of the bottom flipback (absolutely nothing drastic - incredibly unaged for a 52 year old sleeve of this rarity), a touch of denting/roundingto the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!!I tend to bring it down by emphasizing the negatives, but this really isa fantastic sleeve (really clean back and the iconicfront pic looks absolutelyAWESOME!!!), and aTRUE rarity to find one as fantastic as this- most havebeen virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall as Very Good!!!(graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of100% importance to me)

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use fromthe years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wearand willplay fantastically wellwith plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
