Item Description

This NEAR MINT UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from August 1965 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071

The labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text and a 'KT' purchase tax code on the centre of the side 2.

The side 2 label also bears a genuine 'Factory Sample - Not for Sale' sticker.

Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1

Stamper codes: 1/O & 1/R

Vinyl weight: 160g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback stereo cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair bearing no more than 2/3 faint spindle trails around the side 2 cente hole only.

Factory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' & totally unmarked in strong daylight, with just a few wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve beneath halogen light. You won't find a cleaner example.

Sound Quality: MINT

Played just ONCE by its original owner, this is a flawless sounding copy which will not require upgrading.

A fine example of this easily blemished cover which has been carefully stored in a non-smoking environment these past 50 years.

The striking front panel is clean & glossy with minimal storagewear to its high-gloss laminate and no 'thumbnails' or spine wrinkles.

There is slight bruising to the corner tips but both opening edges are sharp & unworn.

The exposed rear panel is beautifully white and free from any writing or any other significant blemishes.

The spine is in perfect condition as are both seams.

Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
