Deep Purple in Rock is arguably one of the best ever all time rock albums ever released in my opinion.
Originals are now nearly 44 years old and even harder to find are top audio sounding copies This copy is in truly top condition throughout and totally complete and original Features the original 1st issue laminated front Garrod Lofthouse gate fold cover.
The 1st issue/1st UK Pressed vinyl is in nice condition with no marks or scratches that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops during the audio.
The added and most important bonus of only ever been played a minimal of times only in my opinion Absolutely the best top, top stunning very loud,clear and vibrant audio quality through out For Deep Purple audiophiles this one is for you listen to the separation it nearly blew my house down I had this so loud Any interference was minor in the form of light isolated static type tick or ticks heard in a quieter place only but no loud nasty constant clicks or pops and nothing that spoilt the overall enjoyment of this awesome album in my opinion.
I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to Very Near Mint Audio for the most part Don t take my word for it , listen to the complete album recorded in the player below This audio was so vibrant and loud on my systems throughout graded at least excellent plus to near mint no loud constant clicks or pops,crackle at all,just cristal clear and very vibrant Earliest for the best audio Deep Purple in Rock is a hard rock album by English rock band Deep Purple, released in 1970.
It was their fourth studio album, and the first with the classic Mk II lineup though Concert for Group and Orchestra , a live album released in December 1969, did feature this lineup .
It would peak at 4 in the UK, remianing in the charts for many months.
Their earlier work was much differently oriented, with orchestra-driven tracks and covers that ranged from The Beatles to Neil Diamond, among others, but on this record there are no compromises.
All tracks are credited to the working efforts of the five members of the band.
Speed King and Flight of the Rat are prime examples of hard rock songs, and the band s new style.
Child in Time is perhaps the most famous song from this record.
This song starts off as a ballad but then becomes a rocker with several solo improvisations and is famous for the high notes Ian Gillan hits in the song.
Although Into the Fire and Speed King featured in the set lists at the time, Child in Time was the only song from this album that was included on Made in Japan two years later although Speed King was the usual encore and is featured on the expanded CD re-issue, as is Black Night which was included in the Deep Purple in Rock reissue Track Listing.....

please look at my completed listings of albums that I have sold of this calaber more than 800 items and you will see that I normally get it right I have also provided as many photos as I can and supersized so that all aspects can be seen clearly in strong light Please note These photos are the actual item for sale and not copies of other items The Vinyl Please note This is the original HEAVY THICKER AND DEEPER GROOVED TYPE OF VINYL later press were much more flimsier and less robust The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable On initial visual inspection the playing surface looks awesome.
Any marks/scuffs that could possibly be seen under a strong would be caused by the vinyl been slid in and out of its sleeve and not audio sounding Importantly There is no needle scratches or audio sounding marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops It is obvious that this vinyl has only ever been played a very minimal amount of times ever Certainly not been played that much at all in my opinion.
The Audio Quality I have played this through track for track four times at very loud volume on a top system prior to this listing, the audio is awesome cristal clear and vibrant through out, with no distortion or any signs of groove ware at all certainly no loud constant clicks pops or jumps Any interference that I heard was very,very minor in the form of isolated light static type ticks just three or four in one quiet place only and perhapes isolated tick here and there that s all Listen to the whole album for yourself in the player above THIS AUDIO IS RATED AT THE VERY TOP ON ALL FREQUENCIES GRADED AT LEAST EXCELLENT PLUS TO VERY NEAR MINT FOR THE MOST PART UNBELEIVABLE FOR A VINYL THAT IS 44 YEARS OLD IN MY OPINION THESE EARLY ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSINGS PRODUCE THE BEST AUDIO QUALITY CAN NOT BE SURPASSED BY LATER PRESSINGS A Top Audio Archive Copy Loud Cut and very vibrant Please note I always add this disclaimer I have described the audio quality as usual giving my honest opinion and would class myself as highly critical Please look at my completed listing of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right Please allow for the odd isolated static tick or ticks perhapes heard in quiet places only, here and there but not consistent throughout the audio Remember that this is a genuine original 1st press vinyl that is 44 years old and would have been played on a 44 years old system Audio is graded as very near mint for the most part in my opinion Listen to the complete album in my player recorded from the actual vinyl listed The Matrix Earliest possible side 1.

around the label rim only early press NO EMI EMI IS EMITED only 1st press Looks to me barely played just a very minimal amount of spidering can be seen only angled in strong light only.
In my opinion this has barely ever been played no more than a minimal amount of times ever ,, definately not been over played.
For a 1st UK press Deep Purple vinyl that is 44 years old unbeleivable Please note I am highly critical about the audio quality on my records as it is my prime interest above rarety This plays awesome you will not be disappointed, also this being the 1st and very early is highly collectable and sought after The Cover This is the original GARROD LOFTHOUSE Printed laminated gatefold cover in absolutely superbe condition Super glossy appearance without the usual nasty ring wear often seen on these covers NO SPLITS OR TARES OR NASTY NAMES WRITTEN ON VERY VERY GLOSSY AND VERY VERY RICH IN COLOUR no splits or tares see photos minimal minor creasing lines near spine end only but you have to look for it, to notice Any rubbing you would have to look for to notice , slight rubbing on the front laminate and at the edges and spine.
Overall I would grade this cover at least excellent in my opinion.
