What makes this so rare is the condition and the fact that this has obviously only ever been played a handful of times ever by me only The vinyl and audio is graded near mint in my opinion.
This is complete with the original Garrod Lofthouse laminated front only gatefold cover in truly exceptional condition and near as perfect inner lyric sheet.

Who Do We Think We Are is the 4th studio album by the Mk II lineup of English rock band Deep Purple.
It was recorded in Rome July 72 and Frankfurt Oct 72 on Rolling Stones Mobile.
It was their seventh studio album, and the last one with the classic Mk II lineup of the group until 1984.
Although Woman from Tokyo was a single hit, the group - riven with internal strife - struggled to come up with tracks of the quality of their previous three albums and first live album .
This album was thus widely panned by the music critics and although it hit number 4 in the UK and 15 in the US did not sell as well as previous albums.
Still Deep Purple was the best selling artist in the USA in 1973 see also Machine Head and Made in Japan .
Woman from Tokyo was recorded in July 1972 and is about touring Japan for the first time, august 1972: Fly into the Rising Sun .
The only other track released from the Rome sessions is the out-take Painted Horse , the rest of the album was recorded in Frankfurt after more touring including Japan .
A digitally remastered version of the LP was released in 2000 with bonus tracks.
First Day Jam is a lengthy instrumental jam featuring Blackmore on bass , Lord and Paice.
Glover was absent, lost in traffic.
Ian Gillan left the band following this album after the last Mk II concert in Osaka, Japan on the 29th June 1973 , and Roger Glover followed, after learning that Ritchie Blackmore had plans to fire him from the group Tracks Woman from Tokyo 5:48 Mary Long 4:23 Super Trouper 2:54 Smooth Dancer 4:08 Rat Bat Blue 5:23 Place in Line 6:29 Our Lady 5:12 The Matrix Side 1 TPSA 7508 A-1U Side 2 TPSA 7508 B-1U Earliest UK Pressing PURPLE PECKIE AND PORKY HAND ETCHED ONLY ON 1ST PRESSINGS The Mother Stampers side 1.

5 GDT The Vinyl On initial visual inspection this vinyl looks absolutely superbe just like a new vinyl in my personal opinion The very important thing to note This is the original heavier thicker type of vinyl with deeper grooves only found on these original 1st pressings They are also more robust than later pressings which were more flimsier Please note I can t see any needle scratches or audio sounding marks at all Certainly no marks that are audio sounding Any marks that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal type only but to be honest I can t see any.
The Audio Quality I have played this through track for track as usual and the audio is rated at the very top ON ALL FREQUENCIES ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE HEARD OF THIS PRESSING This is cristal clear and vibrant through out.
This plays with no background noise or crackle at all with no signs of any distortion or that this has been overplayed I would class myself as highly critacle Please look at my completed listings of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right Audio is graded at the top You will find the audio quality on this vinyl hard to surpass I would grade the audio at least Excellent Plus To Near As Mint in my opinion.
TOP TOP AUDIO TRY TO FIND BETTER Please note I always make this disclaimer Please allow for the odd static/ crackle not consistant throughout the audio Although i never heard any problems at all and have given my honest opinion, this is a genuine 45 year old vinyl not a reissue that would have originally been played on a 45 year old system The Labels This features the original purple labels in superbe condition no marks or nasty writing Amazingly I find it hard to see any spidering when angled the light, Very very rare to find like this after 45 years little if no spindleware the hole is perfectly round .
In my opinion this has certainly not been overplayed at all very rare for a 1st pressing made in gt Britain text is featured this is a UK pressing THE GRAMOPHONE CO...
is featured around the label rim only 1st press The cover The condition of this cover is awesome 1st UK issue Fully laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover.
